Would you like a fire truck to visit your event? As a service to our community we may be able to provide a fire truck for your event.
- All requests for the presence of a Fire Department fire truck must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.
- Fire trucks will be in service and able to respond to emergencies during the event.
- Fire trucks will be available for a maximum of one hour.
- The purpose of our visit is to promote fire safety information, unless pre-arranged with fire chief.
Firefighters will also teach children and adults basic fire safety tips such as the importance of smoke detectors, the proper use of 911, the importance of having and practicing a fire escape plan, what to do in the event of a fire or emergency and many other safety tips.
We will do our best to accommodate your request however they are available based on having personal available to fulfill the request.
Equipment is available during daylight hours only.
Each request will be considered on a case by case basis. Approval is NOT guaranteed. This policy may be changed or cancelled at anytime.
