The Moravian Falls Fire Department places a very high emphasis on firefighter training. In order to best serve our residents, we must be proficient in many aspects of fire suppression, rescue, and related areas.
We require all of our active member complete a minimum of 48 hours of training per year with additional hours for officers and EMS personal.
We conduct training at our station, at the county fire training center, the community college, as well as neighboring departments.
We are mandated by the state to conduct water supply training four times per year with our neighbor departments.
